MULTIMEDIA MOMENT

There seems to be a nimiety of quality cdroms at the moment. "Nimiety" is an "amount exceeding what is sufficient" according to my American Heritage Talking Dictionary.

This is a splendid desktop tool. This useful electronic dictionary integrates the Third Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary, Roget's II: The New Thesaurus, and the Dictionary of Cultural Literacy in one convenient, ready to use cdrom. Particularly noteworthy is the adjacent window linkage of the dictionary and thesaurus, and the integration with popular word processors. Also noteworthy is the fact that it installs on just 20 mb of your hard disk, thereby freeing your cdrom drive if don't care to use the pronunciation helper. Also has "word hunter" (you provide the meaning, it finds the words) and anagram unscrambler. Simple and to the point. (Windows NT 3.5 users beware. Audio may not work out of the box. Seems stable for both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95).
